In most cases, when using the WordPress + Office 365 Login plugin, the WordPress user will be unaware of his or her password. This was automatically set by the plugin during user registration. Since there is no reason for that user to know the password, as he or she logs in using the single sign-on capability that the plugin offers, there is also no need for that user to manually change the password.
There is also no need for that user to change the email address, especially because for an Office 365 account the email address acts as the user’s Principal Name.
For this reason the plugin, by default, does not allow user’s to request a new password through the password-lost function and neither does it allow users to navigate to their profile and update their email address.
To change the default configuration of WordPress functionality to change email address and password, you must configure the following settings:
|User cannot change email address||No||Yes||No|
|User cannot change password||No||Yes||No|
