The Custom login URL is a setting that should be used as a work-around for situations in which another customization (e.g. a theme or a plugin) is providing an alternative login form but did not register it correctly in WordPress.
Important The plugin does not attempt to register the Custom login URL you enter here as the default login page in WordPress.
If configured, the plugin will always try to send the user to this address, should:
- Authentication fail and no Custom error page has been configured
- If the Dual Login feature is activated.
Important The plugin will automatically exclude the URL from authentication. In other words, the URL that you enter here, will be available to anonymous users. This makes sense if you consider that users who will visit this page have the intention to login, but are not logged in yet.
Basically you can use any post or page as a custom login page. To configure, simply enter the full URL e.g. https://www.your-website.com/login/.
To display authentication error messages or the Dual Login message generated by the plugin, you must add the following shortcode to the page.
